Tree
To paint a tree, we must not only see what a tree looks like. We must do more than simply imitate its appearance. We must go deeper. We must know what a tree feels like. To know what a tree feels like, we must become a tree. Only then can we paint the essence of the tree, the soul of the tree, the being of a tree.
When we know the essence of the tree, the soul of the tree, the being of the tree, then we also know our own essence, soul and being for they are not different.
About Peter Cutler
