We Dream Again of Blue Green Seas
This is a painting about becoming. The dolphin babies will grow to become the mother. But it isn't just about growing larger bodies. The mother too is continuously becoming, just as we all are. In the ocean, as in life, what we are becoming is always shrouded in mystery. We only find out when we become it. And even then it is never completely clear because we are already becoming something more.
About Peter Cutler
