Zen Origami are photographs of sculptures made entirely of recycled paper, usually common paper towels, that are folded, twisted, torn, and manipulated into very organic and natural shapes. They take an ordinary man-made object, a piece of paper towel, and give it new life. Paper returns to its original form as trees, earth, water and air, as life. When we think that a paper towel is just a paper towel, we no longer see its True Nature. We no longer see our own True Nature. These photographs and sculptures show us something more. They will give you a new appreciation for how simple, everyday things can become beautiful and even miraculous when life is allowed to flow through them exposing their True Nature and your own.
